NHS West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding its sixth Annual General Meeting on Thursday 1 August.
Local people and stakeholders will have the opportunity to hear about the work of the CCG over the previous year, and to reflect on its achievements and some of the key challenges.
The event takes place at King’s Lynn Town Hall, Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn, opening at 9am when there will be an opportunity to meet members of the CCG over a cup of tea or coffee, and to visit local providers’ information stands. The AGM starts at 9.30am.
John Webster, Director of Strategic Commissioning for the Norfolk and Waveney CCGs, the former Accountable Officer for the West Norfolk CCG, will present a report reviewing the year’s activities.
The meeting will also cover the presentation of the CCG’s annual report and accounts for 2018/19, and there will be a discussion panel with questions from the public.
West Norfolk CCG Chair, Dr Paul Williams said “We extend a warm welcome to local people to come along to our AGM and find out more about health services in West Norfolk and the work of their local CCG.
After the formal presentations there will be a question and answer session when members of the public can ask questions about local healthcare services”.
The CCG’s Governing Body meeting, which is held in public, will follow the Annual General Meeting at 11am.
