Health issues to be discussed as commissioners meet

9th Jan 2019

West Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the NHS body responsible for commissioning local health services in the area, will hold two meetings in public in the next few weeks.

The CCG’s meetings of its Governing Body and Primary Care Commissioning Committee are held every two months, and members of the public are always welcome to attend. Questions from the public will be taken at the beginning of both meetings.

On Thursday 24 January the CCG’s Governing Body will meet at 9:15am at the West Norfolk Deaf Association, Railway Road, King’s Lynn. The governing body is made up of commissioning staff and medical professionals, and oversees all of the CCG’s activities.

On Friday 1 February the CCG’s Primary Care Commissioning Committee will meet at 2pm in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Saturday Market Place, King’s Lynn. The committee oversees the commissioning of local primary care services.

Agendas and papers will be available a few days before each meeting.
